Ferrari F92AT late version driven by Jean Alesi 1992

This is another 1/20th scale Modelers production. This time they have chosen a Ferrari, which didn’t enjoy as much success as in other years. Jean Alesi secured 7th in the drivers championship and Ferrari came 4th in the constructors championship that year.

I don’t have a lot to say about this car except what I can remember personally of that year. The cars aerodynamics were depending on the effectiveness of a secondary floor or double chassis plate. The idea was never really made to work by the team and so was abandoned the following year in favour of the more conventional design philosophy.
